Hawaii’s stunning beaches are calling your name this winter, with additional flights making it easier than ever to get there.

Delta Airlines has announced new and expanded routes to Hawaii for the winter season. Starting December 19 and running through March 28, a new nonstop service will connect Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) with Kona International Airport (KOA).

In addition, the airline will begin service between Salt Lake City and Kahului Airport (OGG) on Maui earlier than usual, starting on October 6. Initially running four times a week, this route will expand to daily service in November. For the holiday season, Delta will also introduce a second daily flight between December 19 and January 5, operating between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu.

Delta will also bring back its flight between Atlanta (ATL) and Maui (OGG) earlier than planned, starting November 6. Meanwhile, flights between Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and Honolulu (HNL) will continue year-round, but with upgraded aircraft from November 6 to March 28.

“We’re thrilled to expand Delta’s network to Hawaii this winter, including our new route between Salt Lake City and Kona,” said a Delta spokesperson in a statement to T+L. “With a 10% increase in seats compared to last year, we’re offering more opportunities for customers to explore the Hawaiian Islands during the holidays—whether they’re revisiting a favorite spot or discovering a new destination.”

Kona was recently highlighted as a “must-visit” destination by T+L, offering one of the world’s rare experiences to night snorkel and get up close to majestic manta rays.
